Learn about the services we offer at DCM clinics

My name is Danny Mace (M.Ost), I am the DCM clinics Practice Manager and Owner.

I qualified with a masters degree in Osteopathy from the European School of Osteopathy, I specialise in Lower Back Pain, Sports Injuries and Shoulder complaints. I am registered with the General Osteopathic Council and the Institute of Osteopathy.

Alongside practising osteopathy in a clinic setting, I also work with the next generation of osteopaths as a respected Clinic Tutor at the European School of Osteopathy. I am also the head of the sports injury and rehabilitation programme at the university, with educating fast becoming a passion of mine.

I am also heavily involved in the world of Jet Ski Racing as a professional athlete.  I have been British Champion Four times and ranked in the world top 10 in 2017.  It was this area of my life that led me to osteopathy, I wanted to understand how to best holistically care for my own body as I put it through the rigours of training and racing on a professional level.  The overriding benefit of training both mind and body to be able to compete at that level has put me in great standing to treat and support athletes in a number of disciplines and use the osteopathic practice in the sporting world.

Be Pain Free.

Danny is an extremely professional and knowledgable practitioner who always makes you feel at ease during sessions. He is skilled in a large range of methods and was always able to suggest the best treatment plans specifically for my needs. As a very active person with lots of aches and pains and various injuries over the years, Danny has always got me back on my feet and back to my best. I would highly recommend him.

I would highly recommend Danny Mace for many reasons. Not only does he have an extensive knowledge of what he is doing, both practically and theoretically, his dedication to getting the right results are extremely impressive. His osteopathic intervention helped treat upper back pain issues and with regular treatment and assistance I have since had an excellent recovery.

I've been to see Dan a few times with different aches and pains which he has always been able to help rectify. He has given me plans to improve strength in a particularly weak muscle which has caused others issues. He has always been very professional and very friendly and someone i would definitely recommend if you want physio/osteopathy treatment.

Danny Mace - Professional Jet Ski Racer

I don't just practise osteopathy.  I also race jet skis professionally and have been the British Champion Four times and ranked in the World Top 10.

Racing has been a passion of mine for many years, since I was 12. There is something special about the rush of being on the start line with engines raring to go and crossing the finish line exhausted, knowing I've given it all I've got.

I race throughout the year travelling around Britain, Europe and America participating in multiple championships, competing against other highly skilled riders for the World, European and British titles. Jet ski racing is an exciting sport to watch and you can see me racing all over the world, competitions are streamed online and you can also watch the British Championships on BT Sports.

I train daily. Its intense, with a mix of gym workouts and on the water training. I incorporate a mixture of interval, endurance, power, flexibility and agility training. To support my training regime and to get me ready for racing I keep a close on eye on my nutrition. I need to maintain a balance between fuelling and recovery and have a diet that supports that.
